The PIT AREA…
SETTING UP A COURSE ….this is just an idea and yet to be tried out
When setting up a course, Allow a short pit area in front of the controllers area. This is to allow for Penalties to be performed.
PENALTIES (the pit area).
Instead of a 360 turn like normal sailing, a land yacht that is required to do a penalty, must enter the pit area and stop their boat, in any manner, for 5 seconds before rejoining the race. To exit the pit area, the skipper is allowed to assist (push) the yacht back onto the track.
